The Amateur Sports Association Valle d’Aosta Trailers organizes the TORX® Academy.
Description
The TORX® Academy is a fully customized training program, designed in collaboration with Franco Collé (4-time winner of TOR330 - Tor des Géants®) and a team of professionals and experts to provide high-level theoretical and practical preparation to all participating trail runners.
The program includes aptitude tests, personal consultations with coaches, preparation of personalized training tables for each participant, a collective training day, 12 theoretical sessions (topics: training, nutrition, mental preparation, GPS device use, injury prevention, race regulations), a two-day outing on the TOR330 route.
Conditions for registration
Registration is open to all individuals, men and women, aged 20 years or older at the time of registration.
Admission to the TORX® Academy is subject to the outcome of aptitude tests to be conducted on January 18-19, 2025, and the issuance of the sports medical certificate (included in the program).

Registration procedure
REGISTRATION / UPDATING OF DATA ON THE TORX® eXperience PORTAL
To access the pre-registration, it is necessary to register on the experience.torxtrail.com website, owned by VDA Trailers.
It is advisable to register on the website before the opening of registrations.
Users who are already registered must update their data before the opening of registrations, as it will not be possible to do so later. In case of a forgotten password, a new one must be requested, without creating a second profile. Only one profile per person is allowed. The creation of a second profile will result in the cancellation of any priority. Registration on the TORX® eXperience portal involves the declaration of personal data. Providing false data in Italy is a crime.
Registrations can be made from December 16, 2024, to April 10, 2025, by proceeding with the payment of the fee. Once the payment is made and confirmed by the online interbank payment service, the registration will be recorded as completed in the Organization's database, and the name will be displayed on the list of participants. A confirmation email will be sent to the email address provided at the time of registration. Only registrations for which payment has been successfully made and confirmed by the international credit card payment system will be considered valid. The Organization declines all responsibility for the acceptance of online payments.

ADVANCED (MEDIUM INTENSITY) - 10 SPOTS AVAILABLE
MAX (STRONG - HIGH INTENSITY) - 10 SPOTS AVAILABLE
In case the requests exceed the available seats, a waiting list will be created.
Waiver
Each runner must sign a waiver in which they affirm awareness of the challenges of the program and commit to bringing all necessary equipment for safe training.
The waiver form is completed online during registration.
Refund of registration fees
VDA TRAILERS SSDrl is a non-profit organization, and the proceeds from social activities are invested in sports activities. Managing amateur sports events involves numerous activities and the use of resources characterized by fixed costs (salaries, rental fees for headquarters and warehouses, equipment maintenance, service and utility fees, subscriptions to external services such as communication services, logistical expenses, etc.). This means that the refund of already paid registration fees is possible only within the limits and cases specifically specified below:
- lack of sports suitability: the registration fee paid will be refunded net of the costs incurred for the tests: €90.00 for functional tests + €60.00 for the sports medical certificate.

Insurance
The organization subscribes to liability insurance for the entire duration of the event. Participation is entirely at the competitors' own risk, who waive any claims against the organizers in case of damages and further consequences arising from the race. At the time of online registration to complete the process, the runner signs a liability waiver. The organization takes care of enrolling each participant with ASI (Italian Sports Associations), thereby ensuring the accident insurance coverage for everyone (read all details on https://www.asinazionale.it/affiliazione/#assicurazioni - "TESSERA B"). It is strongly recommended that each runner also takes out personal accident insurance during the competition, covering medical and helicopter rescue expenses. ITRA (International Trail Running Association) has developed specific insurance for trail running, designed to meet the needs of a trailer in difficulty during a race. Image rights
Each participant expressly waives the image rights or authorizes the organization and its partners to use, free of charge and without limitations, images, photos, or videos depicting them during the event.
It is strictly prohibited to distribute, through any means (web, social networks, TV, newspapers, magazines, etc.), for commercial purposes, images (videos or photos) taken during the event without written authorization from the Organization.
TORX®, TOR®, Tor des Géants®, Tor des Glaciers™, Passage au Malatrà™, Tot Dret™, TOR450™, TOR330™, TOR130™, TOR100™, TOR30™ are trademarks owned or exclusively used by VDA Trailers. All communications regarding the event or the use of its images must be done in compliance with the event name and registered trademarks, subject to agreement with the Organization.
Privacy
With registration, the runner declares acceptance of all points of this regulation and the Privacy Policy, which can be viewed here.
Acceptance of regulation and race ethics
Participation in the TORX® Academy implies the unconditional acceptance of this regulation, published and consultable on academy.torxtrail.com.

IMPORTANT: The original version of the document is drafted in Italian. In case of inconsistencies or discrepancies with versions in other languages, the Italian version shall prevail over others.
